Biography:

In the fall I will begin my second year as a PhD student in the German Applied Linguistics program. I am also pursuing the Language Science dual-degree through the Center for Language Science at Penn State. I am currently spending eight weeks at the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig Germany on the PIRE grant. I am working with Dr. Carrie Jackson to conduct research on how German-English and English-German bilinguals use grammatical gender during language processing. In my free time I like to travel with my husband, Marcus, bake (especially Austrian delicacies!), play with my Boston Terrier, and knit.
