Biography:
I'm a graduate student in the cognitive psychology program. I studied linguistics as an undergraduate and carried that interest into my graduate work: currently, my research focuses on statistical learning in language acquisition, bilingualism, and phonetics (with a focus on stereotyped sound patterns in American English). In the fall of 2012, I'll be starting my fourth year at Penn State, and my third year as a graduate student. To pass the time, I run behavioral experiments, analyze data, manipulate sounds with Praat, and ride my bike(s).
