Biography:
I am a fourth-year graduate student in Cognitive Psychology pursuing a dual-title in Language Science. My research interests include examining how monolingual and bilingual speakers extract grammatical structure from language input and whether the processes involved in statistical learning vary between individuals of different language backgrounds.
Project Summary
During my PIRE project I will be examining how learners with varying experience in Spanish contend with the statistical learning of two artificial grammars with varying phonetic/phonotactic features.
