Biography:
My name is Amanda Mohamed, and I am currently a third-year student studying Spanish, Labor and Human Resources, and Global and International Studies with minors in Latin American Studies and Civic and Community Engagement. In my free time, I love to spend time with my friends, cook, go camping, and travel.
Project Summary:
As a PIRE fellow for the summer of 2022, I will be working in Puerto Rico with bilingual Spanish and English speakers. I will be studying Spanish to English bilingual codeswitching and cues. Through this research, I am hoping to further my knowledge of the Spanish language and how it is processed with bilingual native speakers.
