Biography:

I am a 4th year cognitive psychology graduate student in the BiLD lab and Center for Language Science working with Dr. Janet van Hell. I am also pursuing a dual title Ph.D. degree in Language Science, as well as a Specialization in Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience. My research interests include bilingualism, language and music processing, and cognitive control in linguistic and non-linguistic contexts.
During Fall 2014, I traveled to Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands where I studied the role of bilingualism and musical training on syntactic processing in music in Dutch-English bilingual musicians and non-musicians.
