Biography:
I am a fourth year PhD candidate in Cognitive Psychology and Language Science. I’m broadly interested in language production and how speakers plan their utterances, specifically in more naturalistic, communicative contexts.
Project Summary
My PIRE project explores how speakers alter the syntactic complexity of their language production during dialogue across four different speaking conditions: silence, English background noise, Dutch background noise, and Mandarin background noise.
