Biography:

I am a sophomore currently in the throes of my undergraduate career, pursuing a double major in Spanish (Bachelor of Science with Applied Spanish and World Education (Spanish Option) and a minor in International Studies. I am overjoyed to have been asked to join the CLS team and to represent the lab as a PIRE fellow. The question I ask in my research is simply this: Do proficient L2 learners (Spanish-English bilinguals in Spain) recognize and process syntactical ambiguity in the same way that L1s (English monolinguals in the United States) do when it comes to verb-bias and plausibility?
