Biography:
I am an undergraduate student from Puerto Rico pursuing a bachelor’s degree in World Language Education focusing on Spanish. I am working alongside Professor Dussias and Katrina Connell which have made this experience even better than I had imagined.
Project Summary:
I will actually be going back home this summer to conduct research on the cognate facilitation effect in bilingual children when exposed to an environment that is constantly reinforcing both languages. I am extremely excited and grateful for this amazing opportunity and the knowledge that it will contribute to my education.
