Biography:
I am a sophomore engineering student planning to major in Mechanical Engineering, as well as minoring in German. I grew up in Mechanicsburg, PA where I also graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 2014. I participate on the Penn State racing team and the Caving Club at Penn State University. When I am not studying for classes or participating in clubs, I enjoy hanging with friends, traveling, swimming, or playing ultimate.
I will be traveling to Braunschweig, Germany this summer. I will be conducting an experiment dealing with applied linguistics. My experiment will concentrate on the benefits of learning a second language, specifically German students learning English, and the certain benefits that the German language provides native German speakers.
