Kathryn Walters
Graduate student: Cognitive Psychology
Walters

Biography:

I am currently a first-year graduate student in the Cognitive Psychology program here at Penn State and a member of the Language and Aging Lab. I am interested in the cognitive mechanisms of language production throughout the lifespan.
This summer, I will travel to Groningen, in the Netherlands, to conduct research on the differences in language production between older and younger adults as well as between monolingual and bilingual individuals. This project will use individual language differences to investigate the relationships between language production, executive/cognitive function, and aging.
