Biography:
Hi! My name is Marlen Cordova, and I am from Kennett Square, PA. I plan to major in Cybersecurity with a minor in, information sciences and technology. On campus I am involved with Latino Caucus, MASA, DUS leadership council, and career services.
Project summary:
This summer I had the opportunity to travel to Krakow, Poland where I was able to collect data to research how individual differences in language proficiency affect the learning of novel words and novel concepts in bilinguals’ second language. Now I have begun to analyze and interpret the data. Looking ahead, I am most excited to present my research at the Penn State Undergraduate Exhibition in Hispanic and General Linguistics conference.
