Biography:
Vrinda S. Chidambaram is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Linguistics Program at the University of California, Riverside. The research she has conducted to date has been focused upon the syntactic position and interpretation of pronouns. Although her research explores a wide variety of languages, her specialization is in Slavic languages, particularly the South Slavic sub-group. The goal of her project is to build a cross-linguistically unified theory of the structure and semantics of pronouns.
